    i've never used those pellets unfortunately. have you vacuum the gravel? the water changes are good but can't do them too often. but should continue to change the water.

    yea...at this point maybe better to start over with the tank if you're going to have to move it anyways and re-cycle from the beginning.

    see if they have this test kit. it's one of the best and it's pretty accurate. http://amzn.to/1QVAaUZ see if that'll give you an idea of what's really wrong with the water parameters. you mentioned 50% water changes....wonder if your tank is still considered cycled after all that with no fish...
