Yes it is, though to my knowledge its not even close to wild in genes. Just a regular Stendker Alenquer. I really like how he is looking though, going back to his roots i guess. You can see some spotting coming out on his breast area and the pronounced bars towards the back.

nice looking fish.. i think a darker background would bring out the colors more.

Darker backgrounds actually work the opposite for discus. Discus are darker against a dark background. And if they are PB Based they will show more pepper on a black background. For them its all about blending in. Some strains now keep their color stressed or not, but most will darken against a dark background. Thats another reason why a lot of people don't like to keep them in a planted tank.

i love the cobalt though, not a big fan of blue diamonds. i think their to plain



and on the alenquer, i love the shinyness..i dont know what else to call it. lol. not to fond of the brown look to them though
