Chuy's 20 Gallon Tank

[no.1chuy]

this is my 20 gallon tank. this tank is gonna be my future breeder tank so its being used to house all most of my female fish.

fish in the tank: 3 female pineapple lyre swordtails 3 redwag swordtails 2 hi-fin blue platys 1 black female mollie and 1 male white mollie

there really isnt any decorations in there i only have three small pots but i would like to decorated with some rocks sticking out of the sand some like Orlando has pictured in his Green Leaf Aquariums 91L Rimless ive seen this in a few other tanks and like it. so no plans on when ill do it but sometime in the future

i have a few plants i cant remember the names off the top of my head but there is no co2 being add to the tank but im gonna put a diy co2 today. and it being lite with two 14 watt cf but the fixture has no reflector so im gonna give the frito lay bag reflector a try.

i resuced this plant from my 50 gallon tank it looks good when its all grown hopfully itll bounce back

yup i think he's cool. he's perty agressive for a molly when i was barly started with fish keeping i had him in a 10 gal with like 6 dwarf puffers and he would chase any dp that would try to nip at him the other fish just swam away. i also have a male black hi-fin molly that i really like

Newman, mollies are FW/SW too! Which reminds me, I found a night goby when in petco and he was $3.20...sucks I have no room ATM in my tanks[or for my tanks, lol]

Yes, his tank is probably FW, platies/dwarf puff's[when he moves them in] can't handle salt.

Nope. I was surprised about platies, but dwarf puff's are 100% FW.

all my tanks are FW. i didnt know platys couldnt handle salt.
i know the name of all the plants in this tank (i have it writen down) except for one the one with the dark leaves its on the left side of the tank the leaves are a dark color on top and purplish on the bottom.

gladiator is on tnt its one of my fav movies

i was starting to think it wasnt aquatic. its just not growing like the other plants....
