New tank - stocking.

Hi all, I've recently got my first tank (yay!), it's 20litres, and at the moment we have three kuhli loaches and three neon tetras.
I'm planning on getting 2-3 more neons, but I'm not sure what else to get.
Any suggestions on nice tank mates? I'm thinking of at least one more bottom feeder, but not a kuhli as the ones I have decided to hide in the filter compartment at the back. My boyfriend also is thinking about a siamese fighting fish, but I don't know enough about them.

20 litres = 5 gallons i think

think okay with more neons but that's about it. less is always more especially in a smaller tank.

Yes I think that's about right.
Thanks, I was thinking of one or two small bottom feeders, and possibly guppies. But of course only about three to not overpopulate.

siamese fighting fish - sorry i missed that part...those do better usually alone in a tank. guppies (males) will be aggressive. you'll have some torn fins from them.

I wasn't going to mix the siamese and the guppies for that exact reason. I think it's best to go with guppies for now!

Female Betta will work. And just as colorful as the males, with shorter fins.
