Nano Cube

Hi everybody,

Just a quick question. Does anyone have a Nano Cube? I'm thinking of purchasing one and was wondering if anybody has one with good results. Its made by JBJ so it should be pretty nice, just wondering.

Our LFS has a SW one setup as a display. The owner says it's working well, and he just does water changes. I know I'm not a SW person, but the store owner is, and seems happy with it.

ive seen some on nano-reef which look pretty nice, and, likewise, there was an lfs with one which seemed pretty sweet. you are talking about the seamless glass ones right?

Thats pretty convincing...the reason I'm looking into it is because I am downsizing my 60.

ah...well, I don't think another nano is going to reduce your maintenace load necessarilly, but it will definitely reduce the amount of water in your house

Yes, my parents have had it with electricity and water bills.

yah...i could see that happening with the number of tanks youve got. maybe you could arrange a deal...you pay a portion of the bill or something?

Its also the fact that they are all in my second story room. The supports should hold them.but thats stil a lot of water.

Well break down the 20's then. If you drop the 60 and build a 12, you've lost 50 gallons. Losing 2 twenties is 40, what's the difference? 2 less sets plugs as well.
Fortunately I pay the leccy bill so I get to call the shots

Well, 60s gone/ and I'm in the process of buying a nano.

Yeah...doiung that in a minute. The 60s is currently in my garage...probably giving it to some one I know.

Um, may want to hold off buying a JBJ nano cube for about a month - the new version with 48w PC and fans have just been released.

Well...the new version is to big for the place i want it. Besides its 24 gallons and its bigger then my 20 gallon reef. I'm also currently transitioning my 90 to a reef.
