hmmm prolly a bad idea listening to LFS xD theyll tell you anything that will make you go back and buy a new thing from them once this dies.

What i would do is search on the web for an ID on the star and then look up its feeding requirements. for all you know this star could require clams, urchins, or raw meat for food.

well guys there is going to be a change to tank either end of this week or mid next week. my sailfin tang to going to be rehome sad times i will miss him. getting a yellow tang to replace him

well yellow tang is doing really well he seems to have settle in now and is eating very well got him on nori going try get him on pallets now other than that tank is running very smooth and all other fish and coral r doing very well

lol you even test for iodine? i suppose larger systems you have to since youre not doing large weekly water changes to replenish the iodine.

those params are smashing, well done :)
though for a reef its slightly better to bring your salinity to 1.025 from what I hear and practice myself.

yeah i test for iodine got some gsp and they started losing there colour and lfs did full water test and iodine was the only thing they said was low so been dosing iodine bout 1 ml every week and the gsp look good has new now.

thanks. it was reading between 1.024 and 1.025 so i always use the lower one but it iwll be 1.025 on wednesday when i do my next water change.
