Also, what color is the platy's poop supposed to be? It is kinda a red color right now. And is it supposed to hang on the butt until it falls off?

yes lol, its the color of its food. red is odd. feed it more stuff like spirulina flakes, bloodworm, spinach, and peas. IMO healthy is brown to dark green excrement.

okay thanks...My female platy just gave birth a few days ago while i was gone...i don't know for sure how many it had, but it ate quite a few i think. Now the one that gave birth is always barely swimming around or sitting at the top of the tank with clamped fins? Could it be stressed for giving birth?

You never answered before, what are your current readings of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate?
