MY guppy had babies in my ten gallon tank and now I have taken out the mother and thee swordtails out and put them in the seventy gallon. Only the fry are left in the ten gallon I have premium flake food and frozen brine shrimp can you give me instructions on feeding?
Yah know i just looked in the 70 gallon and now i see fry in there two? I hope I didnt take out the mother when she was half way through cause i still see black?
Well the brine shrimp, put enough for only about 5 minutes worth of feeding for every 3 fry. The flakes, smash them up and sprinkle a little a little bit so they can eat. How much depends on how many fry you have.
If they are frozen brine shrimp, they're probably too big for the fry to eat. Crushed flake food, specialty fry food or baby brine shrimp are great food for fry. You should try to feed the fry 3 to 5 times a day, and do extra water changes for them.
i have been fish breeding and they were live-bearers and i use liquifry for livebearing fish and none of the swordtails i was breeding died and the food is a liquid that has small particles in it that disperse and are easy for the fish to eat. then when they get bigger i feed them on the other products for baby fish and i also use newly hatched brine shrimp.
