I love gouramis as they are a beautiful fish, but have tried several times to keep a couple but they last only a few weeks! I now have a severe complex! They share a tank with tetras and catfish which I have had for about a year and a half, no problems, I do a weekly water change and also test the water weekly, again no problems. They are fine for about 2-3 weeks then one day start looking ordinary, next day dead!
