what safe to keap with a pirana

is there any thing that is safe to keap with a pirana that will eat the leftovers form its feading i have a well planted aquarium so leaf eaters wont do i was thinking along the lines of a crab but the molt dont they and are esaly eaten during that period i had flying fox that used to have the job but i mised a feading and hay no more flying fox but i did get about 3 months without him eating it he/she is a golden pirana btw

ps iv bean a long time loking for a site like this keap up the good work

Piranas know can flip over plecos. They will then eat the soft underbelly.

You may consider just buying ghost shrimp several dozen at a time, if you can find the right place you may be able to get them as cheap as a dollar a dozen. They will cleanup the bottom of the tank and when they get picked off it's know big deal. They can be food and cleaners.

thanks ill look out for them but i dont get a very large selection of fish here on the west cost of ireland and when i do there expensive
