Thats what i was wondering...

I watch football every sunday / monday night as i am a big jets fan and have watched it for 4 years. I still dont know what black ruby has to do with football

As far as I can tell, the football refrence is to the scientific name (puntius nigrafasciatus), not the the common name Black Ruby Barb.

I guess "punt"ius is what you do at 4th and long...I say throw the bomb instead, why play safe
