Small substrate with no sharp corners is highly recomended as they do like to burrow. They will also hide in plants and in caves. Boring fish as it does not move alot or at all. If you like ugly boring somewhat rare fish this one is very undemanding.
Mine eats frozen, live and tablet foods. It is carnivorous so small fish can become meals (I havent verified this yet).
The striped raphael grows much faster and will be about twice as big as adults than the banjo.
