I have a ten gallon tank set up with a small (2 or 3 inch) blue crayfish and i was wondering if i could put anything else in it so the tank is more interesting to look at. I was thinking a fish or two that are bigger than the crayfish but i wouldn't want them to eat him when he molts. If i go the other way and put in fish that are smaller then he is he will eat them. Or i was thinking about something like a crab or snail or even a newt of some kind. I just don't know what would work. Any suggestions?

yes and no as far as the feeding of fish. I put two small gold fish in there the other day to see what happens my cray eat one almost instantly and the other one disappeared shortly after so im assuming he likes to fish. He wouldnt eat e snail?

probably woudn't care about the snail and they are cheap anyway. I'd try a faster cheap fish like a rosy red minnow and see if that can live and stay away from the cray. I think the goldies were just too slow.
