Driftwood generally lowers the pH of the water, not raises it.

Alright, jumping in late, but this seems to be getting alot of response.
I want to get some wood from my pond, and I know it will float, but I was planning on making it a decoration anyways with some rocks (It sounds stupid, but looks cool in my head)
How can I attatch them together? I was thinking of using hot glue, I heard its not toxic for fish but won't stick together.
Do I have to use silicon or is there a cheaper less time consuming alternative?

Hot glue, once completely dried, is aquarium safe, as is silicone. Not sure what would work on the wood/rock combo as far as them sticking together.

Hot glue will work but the bond won't be crazy strong, it will work just fine though
