Looking at the stock in my 135 below do you think that I have anything that will eat/harrass cherry shrimp? I don't have any algea that I can see, can they survive off of fed foods? How many would you get in a 6ft long/18in deep/24in tall tank?

Those fish probably wouldn't eat the adult cherry shrimp, but would probably eat babies. You could "test" with ghost shrimp if you have them available cheap locally.

I have cherry shrimp in with all kinds of fish (including angels and clown loaches), but I have a constant supply from several tanks they're breeding in, so if a few go missing, it's not a big deal for me.

That sucks that you can't get them locally :( If you want to try the cherries, make sure you have some dense plants or places they can hide (maybe some plastic breeding grass or those substrate mat things if you have all plastic plants).

I'll send you some cherries really cheap, if you want to try them out. :)
