She's dead. I don't know what happened. Yesterday she was swimming happily around. Today she's dead, upside down, white, behind the filter. WHAT HAPPENED? She was the only one I had left. Should I start over?

Yes, she was the last fry. Neo and Trinity are mating again, I think, so maybe this time I'll have more information to do it better. Trial and error like with the cories. Ok, I'll try again. But I still feel poopy.

But, I think you're right. With trial and error, you'll get some surviving fry.

I'm starting to build my own swordtail population (I have one female pineapple swordtail) and am looking forward to getting more and having fry. Your threads on the topic will help me out, I'm sure.

I can sypathize. Our platy churned some fry out, we went to bed with a tankful..woke up to 4 LOL.

Also, I think I'll hang back on the swords for a while. I'll concentrate my efforts on the cories. Since I'm getting a new tank (tonight yay) they should be happier than in their glass bowl. Plus I have more eggs. 32 to be exact.
