ok so i had a female swordtail randomly have babies. she had about 40 and she was in quarantine. all babies were fine and she was cured so i moved her. the filter was a sponge one and the chemicals removed(via means of carbon). i had to go to an raf base and so my parents fed the babies. however...
unfortunately my parents did not look closely at the babies for disease but i can hardly blame them for that. all but 2 babies died of whitespot so i moved the other 2 into another tank for treatment. unfortunately they had no proper funeral. they were all practically decomposed lumps before i got back.
i think it was for the best as in the future i could not go through looking after anothe huge batch again. im going to breed bristlenoses soon though.
