ok, so i got two 20 watt 50 50 corali life bulbs which i put into my hood. are these sufficient for anenomes, and some corals? what are you suggestions? Polyps?

also, its been almost a week since i got my live rock and i am yet to see any life bigger than the microscopic level. is this normal? is the live rock crappy? could it be because i just put in these new, good lights today?

No, no good for anemonaes apart from pest species. Some low light corals and some tougher polyps will be ok.

It doesn't sound like the best live rock in the world. Your lighting is near irrelevant to many live rock hitchhikers.
