Hi! So the today I got my first powder blue gourami. He seemed pretty good this evening but when I was feeding him I noticed his right eye was kinda cloudy and brown in color. His other eye looks healthy and bright. I did not notices him having the eye problem at the pet store but I don't look that closely. Does anyone have any idea what it might be, or if it is a disease or fungus at all? Could he just have been born that way? If not what should I do to treat him?
Besides some shrimp and a few snails he is alone in my 20 gallon planted tank.

welcome to MFT!

usually cloudy eye is caused by poor water condition so LFS aren't really known for pristine water quality. so it may already have the cloudy eye issue when you purchased the fish. i would continue to monitor it and see if it clears up by being in better water conditions in your tank. if not, then you'll need to do some medication.
