Newbie needs help with water hardness

All those 'cool' decorations I think are intended for children to keep them interested. If you go into Petsmart and see all the colorful decorations, I can only assume it is for the children. I would never buy them but then again, I like the natural look anyways not the neo style.

The natural look is the only way to go. Fluro pink gravel and castles look so tacky. IMO

Yeah how many natural bodies of water have you been to where there's a pink bottom and neon caves and castles? Not many I've visited. I agree laser lights would be cool if you could control them which those fish couldn't.

The laser lights are supposed to be pointed at a bubble wall, where all the bubbles light up what ever color laser lens you have.That is one purpose for them.
