New tank, with overflow!

#1
Hey guys. I recently bought a 65-gallon show tank, and this one has an overflow.

There are two pieces of PVC piping included, and I am not sure how to set them up.

Can someone tell me (1) how to arrange the PVC pipes, and (2)how high the water is supposed to be inside the overflow itself (I know that the aquarium water needs to be high enough to cause 'overflow' into the overflow, but know not much past that).

Thanks!

I dont have much experience with overflows as I do not run a sump (still kicking myself about that). I do know that the one with the two black spouts is gonna be your return and the all white one is your intake. the water will be as high up as the intake pipe is.

The piece on the left is a durso standpipe. It will drain water from the overflow. The piece on the right will be your return. Do you have a sump and return pump figured out?
