need canopy for 55g

I've got these big ugly shop lights over my tank. I need a way to hide them, plus something to hold them up a bit higher off the water and glass for them to rest on. know of anything around omaha, NE, better than new at a LFS??

I would go DIMS, but I've got limited space and tools to work with.

check craigs list or freecycle for ads. you'd be surprised how much aquarium stuff you can get for very inexpensive. i'll bet you can find a hood on craigs list. if its wood, you can always sand it down and restain it/ paint it to match whatever stand you have.

You can pick up a brand new canopy here in Lincoln at a LFS called "The Fish Store" on N 48th st. It will run you about a 100 bucks, but it fits a shop light perfectly....... That is what I have done with my 55 ....

i have a 55 gallon with these really sweet hoods that have dual florescent lights,there starting to get old thought. the right one is a buzzer sometimes
whats the measurements of the shop light?
