My Pleco

Hi Guys,


I just thought I would show you all a photo of my pleco, my husband has called him Learch.

neat looking. do you have any full body shots? i would like to see more of its coloring.

Well I have taken some more photos, I think I am getting a little bit better at this. lol

He is about 12 inches long, we were given him from a friend of friend, we were really lucky, not sure how old he is or whether he is male or female, so we call him a he.

I will try and get some photos of him swimming, I think he is called a sailfin pleco

its clearly yellow and has stripes in the first pic....though i guess the stripes could be lighting...

i like it! though i like plecos alot...

The marking don't even look like gibby markings.

What do you mean by gibby markings?.

It *kind of* looks like Pterygoplichthys Joselimaianus. I have one. He occasionally has the lighter colored blotches like yours does, but not as dramatically. They are like a gibbiceps except the gibbys have dark spots on a light bakcground and the josewhatevers have light spots on a dark background. He looks really neat tho!
