my chichild's tail is gone! help!

I've had 3 chichilds together in a tank for 4 or 5 months now and just now 2 of them seem to "pick" on the other....not letting it eat and chasing it around, etc. and then a couple days ago, I noticed half of it's tail is missing. Do you think the others bit it off or something? Do they do that? What can I do about it?

They do do this, it's normal. What cichlids do you have? How big is your tank? If it's too small for them they will kill the other one.

[glow=Blue,strength,width]My ciclids have done this before it's fine. If it's happens again you might think about swithching it from your tank to another.
