Well it started with a 2 gal aquarium that I won
at a silly Bingo contest......
Now I have .....
150g with featherfin, hammerhead, lace, alberti,
and angelica synodontis with a few armour cats
and a pleco or two thrown in...... and lets not
forget the orphaned american bullhead and asian
bumblebee catfish that needed homes.
A 7" rusty pleco is in charge of the zurrchin patrol
as well as a common and sunshine.

On this tank I have a bio-rocker... something that
I have now discovered is not too common with fresh
water tanks... as well as a couple emperor 400s that
assist.....
The thank is only stocked with gravel and large pcs
of asian root wood which as turned the water a nice
tea color... but doesnt seem to bother the cats one
bit..... over time I expect it to clear. The cats all
have nice hiding places and naturally the syno like
to hang upside down under everything.

Now, their are other tanks.... 55g with assorted
tetras and a nice shoal of blood fins with a dozen
corys thrown in....   and again more plecos... a
galaxy, L-264, golden, clown, and common.....
This tank is filtered by an UGF (that I want to remove
one day), 2 whisper 3s, and an Eheim cansister.
I have a nice batch of java fern and moss growing now...
and like other post I've read, the moss was not easy to
find, but one of the LFS finally pulled throught.....
I called FloridaDriftwood, and they will ship it to you,
but I never followed through.....
Another tank is a 20H that I have 3 large amazon sword
plants and 14 lemon tetras, as well as a pair of blue
rams and a single clown pleco for alge patrol.......
And lastly a 37g with an 8.2 ph for the 3 chilids and
5 petrocola synodontis.....   nothing in tank except
sand and rocks..... which the fish seem to enjoy the
hiddy holes.... One day I would like to breed the
petrocola...

Well that should be enuf of an intro....  I have too
many featherfin syno if anybody is interested as
well as a bubblebee catfish that I hardly see in the
tank except for feeding times.....
Speaking of which, I also have a cory cat sized
jaguar catfish in my 55g that I never see because
of a nice dark hole in the diftwood......
(wondering if he is still alive)... anybody got any
info on them....   The LFS got it in mixed up with
a cory delivery.... He was another orphan I took
in.....

Nice to meet all....

ps, I live in Broward county florida.....   -Cholula

I love it when the LFS screws up. I got four 3 inch Clown Loaches for $4.25 each from Petco. Actually I used a buy one fish get one free coupon I got on a plastic plant so two of them were free! I don't feel bad at all about taking advantage at Petco, I might feel differently if it were a mom & pop joint. The only reason I shop at Petco are those coupons!
