Came home from work to find my cray dead! Only had him about a month and have no idea what happened. He seemed to be thriving. He had molted a couple times and was growing very quickly. I was concerned about the tank temp....couldn't get it any lower than 81. Not sure if this had anything to do with it though.
Man are my critters having a bad week :(

Years ago my husband and I had a cray and a baby small mouth bass in a tank. My husband just reminded me of how the cray would almost become lifeless while molting. 
Could it possible that he really wasn't dead?? When I lifted him out, there was no movement at all and his eyes seemed glazed over.
Someone please tell me I didn't throw away a live cray!!!
