Hi everyone. I bought this Co2 injection device made by Jungle Plant at my lfs recently. It includes Co2 fizz tablets, a reaction vial, tubing, valves and a Co2 holding chamber. It works like this - the holding chamber is like an upside down clear plastic box that goes inside the aquarium right below the water level and attaches with suction cups. A piece of air tubing attaches to the side of the chamber and connects to a little closable plastic container that holds about 3 oz of water. You open the lid and drop in a Co2 fizz tablet. The tablet fizzes and pushes Co2 gas up the air tube and into the holding chamber. The aquarium water is forced out of the chamber as the gas bubbles into it. The Co2 is then released over a matter of hours into the tank. Now for the question - could this holder be used for DIY yeast Co2? The holding chamber will hold only a certain amount of gas. Maybe I'd be better off with a larger holding chamber if I'm going to the yeast method?
