how to get mollies to breed

Hi, i've got 2 mollies, a male and a female, i want to try to get them to mate, i have them in a small breeding tank, of about 1- 2 gallon, i have salted the water abit, no heating, made a beeding trap, bubbler filtration, a bit of java moss in there,

what else can i do to get them to mate? my female is faily large, but not as big as ive seen, shes white about 3.5cms long.

Sounds like a small tank for two full size mollies. How big are they? I find that they need little incentive to mate. Constant process in fact. I don't separate mine at all and they seem happier in the community tank. Why do you feel you need to separate them? I separate the fry once they are born for about six weeks but that's all.

I have never breeded mollies in the aquarium but i go to the local pet shop and buy the biggest females in the tank. (big belly big) and hope they have babies
