Hello, I have a 10 gallon freshwater tank that I am planning on putting 2 clownfish in and a starfish and shrimp. How much would it cost to convert it into a saltwater? P.S. the lighting system blew out.

this is my list so far

light = 129 (hellolights.com)
2 powerheads = 37 (cheap from aquariumplants.com)
salt, high pH kit, aragonite sand, hydrometer, 10 gallons of R/O water-$74 (LFS)

This is with out live rock or any livestock. Live rock is gonna cost at least another 50-60 bucks if not more. Also I already had a heater, thermometer, tank, stand and nitrogen test kits.

You can get T5HOs which are better than PC's really cheap from T5-ho 24" /2 lamp aquarium Light.

I've heard very good reviews from them and I plan on buying lighting fixtures from them when I finally set up a SW tank and upgrade the lights on my 100g planted FW.

EDIT: They also have MH lighting at a cheap price. I've heard some good reviews about them, but I don't think they come with fans on them to cool the fixture, so it could provide several problems.
