Ok guys....I really want to get that 120 gallon tank.  It would look GREAT in my room.  BUT I also want a heavily planted tank.  This is my first planted tank.  I want to use a co2 tank and the whole bit.  How much harder will it be to do a 120 gallon as opposed to a 40 or 55 gallon???
THANKS!   :-*

I don't know what your budget is but 100% flourite will cost you a lot. You can mix it 50/50 with a small pebble shaped gravel to cut costs. You could also go laterite under the gravel. Another option is the schultz clay soil conditioner, which would be the cheapest method. I could not find it anywhere here so I went all flourite.

You will need a C02 tank for that size tanks. Look into PC lighting which will be your biggest expense.

With that lighting, you could just change a couple bulbs, and make a Reef tank later on when you decide you want that route.

Yes, it would be eisier but much more expensive,
