gourami bloating

yesterday, i found my gourami motionless on the surface, with a huge oversize stomach, and i am afraid this gourami will die like its mother did, with a huge stomach. i don't know what is going on, because all of the other fish are okay, and the water quality isn't that bad.

You can try feeding a skinned pea. Sometimes that helps relieve bloating / constipation. Used to do the trick with my betta.

I would suggest the pea route. You can also subsitute with daphinia.

If that doesn't work then you might want to use an epsom salt bath.

he was put in a tank filled with slightly salty water, and his unusually large stomach is back to normal, but now he has something that looks like a small patch of rotting skin on the skin where his fin normally covers.

Where is it? Is it right on the back? Could be a patch of dry skin if the area was out of the water for any time.
