well i bought another piece of cured live rock and put it in my tank and it had lots of tiny creatures on it all of which i have no clue to what there names are i also bought two small hermit crabs, my tank has been cycling for about 3 weeks....can i put a fish in yet? all of my tests are reading normal PH 8 Ammonia:0 ppm Nitrite 0 ppm

i think you'll be fine adding a fish now, but i woudl recomend purchasing the natrate test...

personaly i would spend the money you are planning to spend on fish on that nitrate test kit...its just one of those things you will need periodically

plus, you dont want to bus the fish and have them die because of bad nitrate levels. lol, just get the test. they arent that expensive. you can always get fish later.

excitement is good but patience is more important...if you rush into this you are just asking for trouble and it is unfair to the animals you are keeping

i 2nd the above. Whether u get fish RIGHT now or not, its still essential that you get a NATRATE TEST...
