fungus

i was wondering.... if a fish had fungus... and the tank was treated for three days with MarOxy.. would the fungus have survived in the tank? there's some... white, cottony stuff on several of our plastic plants...
we also removed more than half of the water after these three days in order to move our tank. (we saved three 4g buckets full of the previously treated water and added them after the move.)

How much food do u feed them ??? It might just be decaying food

i scooped the few plastic plants that had it goin on.. and rinsed them very well in water.. then vinegar.. then more water.. and popped them back into the tank... over-feeding could very well have been the problem.. we vac'd the gravel during a water change and pulled alot of that stuff up... (ew.) and things seem to be ok now.. thanks!

Is your tank new? That white stuff is most likely bacteria common to new setups. It will disappear by itself after awhile.
