Fresh Water Flounders

I have just purchased some fresh water flounders they are very neat looking. The lady at the fish store said they were bottom feeders. But i want to know more about them so i figured this is the place to go any info would be apprechiated THANX ;D ??? ::)

Thanks Clothahump now i know what these things like. Im going to have to drop my tank temp a little bit. And ryan i don't know how big they get the biggest one i have is 1 1/2 inches long

I personally have never kept them,I suggest you treat them in the same way as any other amazonian fish,when they are fully grown feed well with bloodworm or a similar meaty food, then perform a large water change using water about 5c cooler than the normal temp,this should stimulate spawning,Good Luck and let me know if this works. 8)
