So i have 3 goldfish in a 55 gallon tank (sig is wrong, havent changed yet sry) and the problem is that one of the comets (larger one) tends to float to the top of the tank, even if hes just swimming idley along, he'll tend to slowly rise to the very top and then has to use force to bring him back down again. I was wondering what could be the problem.
The levels (ammonia, nitrite and nitrates) are fine and i havent introduced anything new into the tank for about 6-12 months so im not sure what the problem is. Ive been feeding just regular floating fish flakes and occasionally a few peas to help clear out their system but thats it. I also do a 20% water change every week to insure that the tank runs as well as it can.
Any help would be appreciated
