Well this morning I said hello to my tank and found out that one of my longfin leopard danios got beatup in my sleep.

His lower tail fin got completely nipped off. I don't know if this is due to him always picking on the school, or if he got caught in something.

I contained him and saw that his tail wasn't completely ripped off and tht there were still small pieces of fin still sticking out. Will this regrow?

One of our long-finned danios got nipped recently. I call him Stumpy now. His fin is growing back, though, and he didn't have trouble swimming when it was short. Apparently, as long as there are still fin rays there, it will grow back. If it was bitten off with muscle, it won't grow back.
