Filter problem

Hi this is jill again i have 3 platys the one that was in sock was on the floor somehow so i got him to my 3 gallon tank :"( i went down stairs to eat breakfest and when i came back my panda platy got sucked into my dam filter so i called the company that made my tank and he said i need a strainer well this tank didnt come with a strianer :"( im stressing out and im about to cry......

you need something like this over your intake.

as Capslock mentioned...a fish that gets stuck onto a filter isn't doing well. in the meantime, you can try to find something to block the filter intake so the platy won't get sucked into it again.

at this point...leave the platy alone...don't move him back and forth. let him hopefully settle in and get used to the tank conditions of the 3 gallon.
