Feeding Crickets To Beta

I would not recommend feeding insects for a couple reasons.
One is ,bettas vave very small throats and eksoskeleton of insects,(shell) could present hazzard for fish if piece of shell became lodged in the fishes throat.
Second reason is ,that unless you know that the house,apartment,yard,has not been treated with insecticde's or weed killers.etc You could end up with very sick or dead fish.
