Hey all. One of my 10gal tanks doesn't have a light (or canopy, for that matter) and I can't really afford to buy a new hood. However, I found a used light fixture at Goodwill for $4 that works (YAY!). I'm going to buy it today, but I wanted to make some sort of mount of it to elevate it off the rim of the tank. The light on my 46gal rests on the rim of the tank and it's a MAJOR P.I.T.A. whenever I want to do anything to the tank (even basic WCs require removing the fixture). So, does anyone have any ideas on DIY light mounts for a 10gal? I can't hang anything from the ceiling (ceiling is too high and I live in a rental, so I can't mess with anything that way), but I have access to quite a bit of materials in my dad's shop. Thanks!
