Cory with hole?

I was watching my fishies and one of my peppered cories was sticking her nose down in the gravel so I got to see her belly. I looks like she has a hole in her belly! It's about between her pectoral fins. She seems to be acting normal. What's the matter with her? :'(

Is it a hole or just sunken belly?
If just sunken your fish needs feeding, they are not scavengers as most people think, they need a good diet that they can pick up from the bottom. 8)

DO YOU HAVE SHARP/ROUGH GRAVEL WHICH MAY HAVE "PUNCTURED"  HER...OR IS HER BUM/REPRODUCTIVE AREA?? GOOD LUCK

No it's not a sunken belly. I feed them sinking wafers.

My gravel is rounded, not pointy.

It's a very round hole about 1/8 inch in diameter. It doesn't look red around the edges or anything.

No, it's not her butt hole. It bigger than that in it's closer to her head. It's more in the chest area.

If it is not inflamed I would not worry too much,it could be a defect from birth. 8)
