Color Change

OK I just got a discus 2 days ago, and I was wondering Why it changes colors so often? It go from blue to a white type color.

It may be just stress..My oscar went from a dark grey to a dark black at times..Not unusual I dont think..

Not unusual, especially with certain cichlids.

Not unusual, though white is a bit weird. What's the water like

nitrate
What's the filter.
How big is it, what's in the tank with it?

If you got a small discus a few days ago, and removed it from the shoal it's always been with and stuck in a tank by itself that possibly is too cold, or has nonideal water, then yeah it will be freaking out and will likely change colour one way or the other.....
