Beautiful Alaska!!
#1
In the May edition of the Aquarium fish magazine, there was a picture of a bluefin (they also called it a blackfoot) lionfish on the cover page (Parapterois heterura). For those of you who haven't seen it, Wow! What a gorgeous fish-

At any rate, I've never heard of this one before. I'd like to to find some info about it. The internet doesn't have much (believe it or not), so do any of you have any clue where I could find some info on this beauty? Thanks!!

Must be a sub-species of something. Sometimes that happens, especially in the big ocean.  Or maybe it is just a fish that has only been recently intoduced into the trade. Sorry, but I didn't even get a chance to read that edition of the magazine, so I've never even seen a picture.  :-[

Oh well, it probably will get more recognition eventually-

Also, I mean the May edition as in May 2002, I guess I just got mine early!

Anyway, still looking for info if anyone has any....

By the way- here's a page with some top views of it...
