How well do they do in a community tank with: 2 pearl gouramis 3in, 1 fire dwarf gourami 2in and 3 lamp eyed tetras in a 20 gallon. The knife im looking at if 5in. I know they are nocturnal and eat small fish sometimes but how small. AND.. how hard is it to have natural plants in a tank? I have a aqua-glo flor light that is supost to help plant groth. I would like to know the best looking plants for the best price. ??? ???

I wouldn't recomend this fish for your tank. It would eat your tetras for sure. They also suck out the eyes of the other fish, quite disgusting. They do need low light and a lot of hidey places.

Natural plants are not too hard to keep, just as long as your lighting is right and you have some kind of fertalizer. The easiest that i have grown would be the hygros and the vals, these are the cheapest here (2-4$AU). :)
