In the full tank shot, you can see the Diatom problem I am fighting and not winning. When I went to work yesterday morning the sand was pretty much white as I sucked alot of the Diatoms out when I did my last water change, when the LED lights crank up, the Diatoms come back. I have increased the out put from my 2 MP40s to full blast, I had them pretty much right across from each other on the sides of the tank. I have moved them so that they are off set a pretty good bit, I also changed the direction my return pipe in the tank is flowing, so I now have better current flow in the tank. All of that dosn't seem to be working, I am wondering if alot of the problem is because the tank is fairly new, meaning the sand is also new, could that be a factor with the Diatom's, or is it strictly a flow issue and I need to add another power head to the display tank? One good thing
