I was remodeling my tank today and for some reason my swordtail died!!! wut could be the problem? i didnt add anything new to the tank. and that was the only fish affected. it just stopped swimming and then it was at the bottom and then it stopped breathing HELP!!!!!
if i were to take all the fish out and then move the gravel up a lot and take out all the nasty things in there will it get rid of posonious stuff under there? and if that does help how long do i have to wait till i can put the fish back in?
its worth a try. as soon as the water clears it should be ok to put the fish back in.Or just wait a day or two that would probably be the best solution.
well i dont know the size of the contanier but some of the ones i will use are pitchers, and big jars. bigger than those used for bettas. i would put in them from 2-4 fish. 4 in the biggest one i have
i would put my cories together. i would put the glassfish together. i would put my molly and my female swordtail together. and i would put my male swordtail and my guppies together. and just for 1 day
If i were you i would go to walmart and buy a large ten gallon container for 5-6 dollars. If you have an extra pump lying around hook it up to the tank and your fish should be fine for 1 day.
