    Actually mollies can definetly be in 10g one of my tanks is 10gal and that's how it should be 10 and up for mollies. My mollies are the healthiest they can be in my 10 gal. I have a couple bigger tanks for different fish.

    If the things are white it could very well be a sickness for the fish. My friends fish had it and I'm not sure if it survived. I don't know a bunch of info about the sickness but it could be. Ask a vetranarian. Or someone who works with fish.
