I was wondering if anyone could let me no if female gourami's die after laying there eggs. I had no idea mines was pregnant. I thought it was dying. I almost scooped it out of the tank. Every morning it was still breathing. But just laying there. Then the mail Gourami laid next to it for awhile. All of a sudden i noticed these little sacks that looked like snails almost, alot of wiggleing going on. Then appeared a tiny little fish with one big eye, i had to look through a mgnified glass and found 3 more. 2 days later the female Gourami was dead. I that normal, like Salmon swimming upstreamlaying eggs then dying ??? lemme no asap..
