damsels are what people usually recommend beginner’s in saltwater to get. they are hardy and easy to keep but can sometimes be aggressive. i wouldn’t recommend them since there’s only so many fish you can keep in your tank and saltwater fish choices are so many. but if you’re looking for a hardy fish, then it’s fine.
