Shower Start – Conserve Water. Save Money

Lately I’ve been more interested in finding different ways to help the environment and saving money. You get a good feeling from being able to help save the environment and yet at the same time, able to save some money. So I’m always looking for a new way to do that even if it’s just something small (cause every lil’ bit helps).

According to the website it helps you save water and money everytime you take a shower. Everyone lets the water run while it warms up and what this does is once it detects that the water is hot enough, it’ll show down the flow until you get in (or are ready to get in) and then you push a button to start the flow again. It can save you over $75 a year in wasted water costs.

I think I might buy one to test out and then post a review about it later. It sells for $39.95 and it should pay for itself within a few months.

Or do what I do. Just don’t shower. That’ll save you even more money and is better for the environment.

Wouldn’t it be true though, that if you dont actually turn the shower on and go do something else while its warming up, that there probably wouldn’t be any savings? I just turn the water on…test test test and then as soon as its warm I turn the shower on. Might be worth it though just so I wouldn’t have to freeze my toes off testing the water before it gets warm 😀
