need help quick

need help fast for 10 gallon
my friend bout 10 pounds of live rock but didnt get any salt for it, so he put the rock in the tank with fresh water then added a bunch of salt for a freshwater tank. he cant go to the store till tommorow will the rocks be okay?

i hope that some good comes out of this, and your friend realizes hes not ready to start a salt tank and now is some time for some research. Tell him instead of buying any more tank stuff go out and buy "The New Marine Aquarium" by Eric Paletta, and refer him to this website

it was only like that for about 12 hours then got the stuff for salt, he said it looks good so far

yea...um its all most likely dead, and if he actually did what you said he did, I doubt if he knows what "good" should look like....tell him to buy a book, or just set his money on fire...either would be better than continuing this project with out a working knowledge of what he is doing.
